Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.2.4.7.1 - Examine the displayed performing artworks and make decisions on the beauty and usefulness of each artwork based on the agreed guidelines
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State the agreed guidelines (theme, subject matter, media, techniques, elements) used for judging performing artworks.
- Examine a displayed performing artwork (music, dance, or drama) and identify its theme and subject matter.
- Make a decision on whether an artwork is beautiful (aesthetic value) and useful (functional value) using the agreed guidelines.
- Express personal likes and dislikes about a performing artwork, giving at least one reason for each.
- Offer one simple suggestion for improving or developing an artwork.
