Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.1.2.2.4 - Make firm decisions on the relevant visual arts making tools, materials and methods for creating own visual artworks that reflect local topical issues in the local community
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- recall at least three topical issues currently of concern to people in their local community from memory.
- identify and name at least two local artworks that reflect current issues of concern in the community.
- select and state the specific tools and materials they will use to make their own artwork that reflects a chosen topical issue.
- make a clear pencil or crayon outline of the artwork they plan to create, showing the topical issue they have chosen.
- explain in one or two sentences why they chose their specific tools, materials and method for their planned artwork.
